If shopping is a part of your Branson getaway, The Savannah House offers easy access to Branson Meadows, the Branson Mill, Tanger Outlet Center and a short drive to the new Branson Landing on Lake Taneycomo. The beds were comfortable and the rooms very clean. All the staff are so nice and meet your every need—and they’re always smiling. Room was very nice and clean with a comfortable bed. We did not try breakfast, but did enjoy the ice cream and other desserts in the evening. The lobby was very inviting with friendly staff and wonderful music. Established in 1733, Savannah’s place in American history is as deeply rooted as the iconic live oak trees that drip in Spanish moss and line the city’s cobblestone streets. There's a gorgeous lawn area -- blooming flowers, cascading water down rocks, and a pretty gazebo fill the space. Since the hotel is on a steep incline (be sure to put on the parking brake), views of the Ozarks are lovely, although most rooms overlook the concrete parking lot. Inside, the lobby has multiple seating areas with brown leather couches, cabinets lined with books and bric-a-brac, and even sculptures of a boy and a Dalmatian -- both wearing American flag bandanas. A conference center primarily attracts social gatherings. Most guests, both families and couples, at the hotel like that its in a quiet area a little bit removed from the hub of Branson.

The casual New Orleans style Huey’s Southern Café, as well as Bernie’s Oyster House, are both located on the first floor of the hotel, and guests of River Street Inn receive a discount at each of these restaurants.
